Jenna C. Kyser President
Jenna Kyser, APR has held a number of executive positions in the advertising and public relations industry over the past 15 years. She has served as the Marketing and Communications Manager for an international luxury refrigeration manufacturer, where she was responsible for managing all of the public relations efforts for the company. In that role she also supported the regional and national sales managers for all three of the company’s product lines. Prior to that, she worked for a major Midwest business-to-business advertising and public relations firm as a Public Relations Associate and Senior Copywriter for several years, during which time she coordinated an Asian Press Tour for a global chemical company and secured interviews with 18 key publications including The Wall Street Journal Asia. She also served as a contributing writer and editor for an award-winning external communications publication for the global chemical company.
From 1999 to 2005 Jenna served as the Director of Media Relations for a sports marketing firm where she represented a high-performance folding bike company and a California-based bike locker manufacturer. In this role she gained exposure for clients in The Wall Street Journal, WIRED Magazine, The Boston Globe and Sony Style Stores across the United States.
Since then she has founded Jenna Kyser Communications and has represented clients such as The Lake Michigan Art Walk, Big Picture Imaging, Eden Environments, Kyser Designwerks, Light of Day Organics tea farm, Art Aid International and the Van Andel Institute. Under her own umbrella, Jenna has developed and implemented marketing plans, promoted a sesquicentennial celebration, and helped launch several new companies. She has secured coverage for clients in media outlets such as Midwest Living, USA Weekend Magazine, Mother Earth News, The Grand Rapids Press, WZZM’s Healthy You Segment, FOX 17 News and WGVU.
Jenna graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and advertising, a minor in English, and an emphasis in journalism. In 2007 she earned her Accreditation (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), a distinction that is shared by a limited number of public relations professionals nationwide, and a symbol of professionalism demonstrating her knowledge, ethics, and experience in the field. |
